A poor gardener named Devkan befriends a bird who is injured. He helps the bird recover and, in return, the bird gives him a magical seed that grows into a tree with healing flowers. The tree is planted in the king's garden, but the head gardener, Prabhudas, steals the flowers and sells them to the king, claiming they are his own. The king's daughter is turned into a stone statue after touching the tree, and Devkan is brought before the king to explain the situation. A bird queen intervenes and saves Devkan, and with the help of fairies, the princess is brought back to life. As a reward, the king marries his daughter to Devkan, and the fairies give him a beautiful palace and wealth. Devkan lives happily with his new wife and continues to visit his bird friend every day.
