Cousins Are Jealous Because I'm Prettier Than All Of Them Combined - Summary

Summary

The story revolves around Isabella, a young girl from Costa Rica who was forced to marry a man she didn't love. However, the day before the wedding, a volcano erupted, forcing them to leave their village and move to San Jose to their uncle Pablo. Upon reaching, they were told that her groom had run away with another girl, taking all the dowry their parents had given him.

Isabella was then taken in by her uncle's daughters, Daphne and Carla, who were not happy about the situation. Isabella was treated poorly and was made to work as a servant. One day, she was caught in the act of reading a book by the light of a candle, which led to her being sent to the first grade.

Despite this, Isabella was determined to educate herself and started tutoring other students. She became popular at school and started earning money from tutoring. One day, she was asked to tutor a woman who lived in a fancy restaurant. The woman turned out to be Mindy, the first-grade bully who had been tormenting Isabella.

Isabella then met Juan, a boy from her school, who was also a victim of the twins' bullying. Isabella and Juan started dating, and their relationship was a secret from the twins. However, their secret was revealed when they were caught by the twins in a compromising situation.

Isabella decided to stand up for herself and confronted the twins in front of everyone at a fancy restaurant. She expressed her frustration about their bullying and told them that kindness and generosity make people better, not their city background.
