SIH1347 -A software that suggests drugs based on Ayurveda (Team: Team_Strikers_11) SIH 2023 - Summary

Summary

The team, Tech Titans, aims to develop software that suggests ayurvedic drugs and formulations for diseases based on classical books or repositories. This endeavor seeks to bridge the gap between traditional knowledge and modern pharmaceutical recommendations by leveraging technology, data processing, and machine learning to provide personalized ayurvedic herbal recommendations to users based on their health concerns, symptoms, or preferences.

The proposed application will utilize advanced AI and NLP techniques, including BERT and GPT-3 algorithms, to understand and interpret user-entered health conditions and provide medicine recommendations accordingly. Machine learning algorithms like Random Forest and Gradient Boosting will be employed to consider user profiles and evolving health records. User data will be fortified with Ethereum-based technology for privacy issues through smart contracts.

Security will be ensured through Blaster with biometric recognition, implementing fingerprint and facial recognition algorithms. AI and VR will be used in the project, leveraging Unity 3D and Unreal Engine for engaging three-dimensional learning about ayurveda. Automatic speech recognition powered by Deep Speech and Google Speech-to-Text API will allow users to navigate the platform using voice commands, enhancing accessibility.

The system will have multilingual support, an AI power tripod, and an online store for buying ayurvedic medicines. The user flowchart will describe the process, starting with identity verification, inputting health conditions, receiving recommendations or prescriptions, and the option to buy medicines.

The technology stack includes Python and Java for the backend, MySQL for the database, and HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap for the frontend. The infrastructure will be hosted on AWS or Azure for scalability, with Docker for deployment and virtual control. Git and GitHub will be used for collaboration and collaborative development.

The project will be used by medical practitioners, researchers, patients, students, and healthcare workflows for knowledge preservation and business potential. It will require comprehensive ayurvedic knowledge resources, high-quality healthcare data and patient records, advanced AI, NLP, and machine learning tools, adherence to data privacy regulations using blockchain technology, and consideration of cultural and ethical factors. The user interface will be designed to be user-friendly. The team members include Jai Sonone, Ketan Gore, Nisha Marathi, and Miss Puja Saraf Mam.
