ClownHouse | Te la Cuento - Summary

Summary

"Longhouse" is a 1989 horror film that tells the story of three brothers who are terrorized by clowns. The protagonist, Casey, is afraid of clowns and has a recurring nightmare about hanging men. He is taken to a city circus by his brothers, Joffrey and Randy, who are more inclined to play pranks on him. The clowns from the circus, who were actually mentally ill patients who escaped from an asylum, return to haunt the brothers.

The clowns, who dress up as their victims, first kidnap Randy. The remaining brothers, Joffrey and Casey, manage to free Randy, but the clowns reappear and kidnap Casey. Joffrey, who is left alone, is killed by the clowns.

In a twist, the clowns are revealed to be the original victims of a serial killer, who escaped from the asylum and was posing as a clown. The clowns, who are now dead, are seen taking off their makeup after their show, and the power goes out just as they hear the screams of the animals they killed.

Despite the shocking revelation, the film ends on a suspenseful note, leaving viewers questioning the fate of Randy and Casey. The film is known for its unique storyline and the relationship between the brothers, reminiscent of the sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle". However, some viewers criticized the ending, which they felt was rushed and lacked a satisfying conclusion.
