Don't Eat The Candy Until We Get Back - Summary

Summary

The video is a humorous and lighthearted recording of a family testing their toddler, Zadie, on her willpower. The parents, Sadie and Matt, give Zadie various items, including candy and a ball, and instruct her not to eat or play with them until they return. They use a monitor to keep an eye on her and discuss their observations.

Zadie is initially confused by the instructions and fails to resist the temptation of the ball. However, she successfully resists the candy, much to the parents' surprise. They then test her in the water, where she appears more timid, and she successfully follows their instructions not to touch a ducky.

The parents then challenge each other on their willpower, with Matt trying to resist eating a Swedish fish and Zadie's favorite, chocolate cupcakes. They also try to resist the temptation of fresh donuts and pumpkin-flavored cookies.

The video ends with them testing Zadie again, this time with a cookie, and realize that she does not yet have the willpower to follow their instructions. They express their hope to try this test again when she is two years old.
