The SCP Foundation has made numerous attempts to kill SCP-682, a highly resilient and aggressive reptile. These attempts have included:
* Using various anomalous objects and entities, such as SCP-662, SCP-689, SCP-807, SCP-524, SCP-1933, and SCP-2337, to try and kill or incapacitate SCP-682.
* Recruiting SCP-343, also known as "God", to help destroy the beast, but it refused to intervene.
* Attempting to poison SCP-682 with a lethal meal, but it was able to survive and even escape containment.
* Using SCP-294, an anomalous coffee machine, to produce a liquid that could potentially kill SCP-682, but it was unable to produce enough of the liquid to be effective.
* Introducing SCP-055, the self-keeping secret, into the containment chamber, but it was unable to kill SCP-682.
* Using SCP-082, also known as Fernand the Cannibal, to try and subdue SCP-682, but it was unsuccessful.
* Recruiting SCP-049, the Plague Doctor, to try and kill SCP-682, but it was unable to have any effect on the reptile.
* Attempting to pacify SCP-682 by introducing it to a pessimistic and misanthropic human, but it only led to the human's death.
All of these attempts have failed, and the SCP Foundation is still struggling to find a way to kill or contain SCP-682.

6. SCP-689, a soapstone statue, was used to try to kill SCP-682, but the creature was not affected.
7. SCP-807, an anomalous dinner plate, was used to try to poison SCP-682, but the creature was able to survive.
8. SCP-343, also known as "God," was unable to see or kill SCP-682.
9. SCP-524, a white rabbit that can eat anything, was able to eat part of SCP-682's leg, but the creature was not killed.
10. SCP-1933, a fat man dressed as Santa Claus, was able to make SCP-682 intoxicated, but the creature was able to recover.
11. SCP-2337, an intelligent corn crake, was unable to kill SCP-682 with its loud voice.
12. SCP-2521, an anomalous drawing board, was used to try to kill SCP-682, but the creature was not affected.
13. SCP-169, a massive underwater creature, was suggested as a possible way to kill SCP-682, but the idea was rejected due to the risk of an XK-Class End of the World Scenario.
14. SCP-807 was used to try to poison SCP-682, but the creature was able to survive.
15. SCP-939, a voice-imitating monster, was unable to kill SCP-682.
16. SCP-999, a creature that can induce good vibes, was able to temporarily incapacitate SCP-682, but the creature was able to recover.
17. SCP-294, an anomalous coffee machine, was able to produce a liquid that could kill SCP-682, but the amount produced was not enough to be effective.
18. SCP-055, a self-keeping secret, was unable to kill SCP-682.
19. SCP-082, a cannibal, was unable to kill SCP-682 and instead tried to use it as a steed.
20. SCP-049, the Plague Doctor, was unable to kill SCP-682 with a touch.
21. A D-Class personnel was sent to speak with SCP-682, and the two shared bleak sentiments about the human race.
22. A researcher suggested letting SCP-682 out into the wild, but the idea was rejected by the O5 Council.
