A group of girls, led by their teacher Miss Rosabel, go on a camping trip. They arrive at the campsite and set up their tents. The girls are warned not to go beyond the swamp, as it is prohibited due to possible dangers. However, one of the girls, Elsa, gets lost while searching for firewood, and her friends have to find her.
During their search, they come across a cave and a well, where they meet a giant ant. The girls are scared, but the ant turns out to be polite. They eventually find Elsa and return to the campsite.
Later that night, they discover that someone or something has been stealing their food. They set a trap and catch a baby wild boar, which they plan to return to its mother with the help of the forest guard.
As they prepare for bed, they discover that a boy, Tito, has been hiding on the roof of the caravan and eating their food. They decide not to tell Miss Rosabel about Tito until the next day, as they are all tired and don't want to disturb her.
